Marga IJkhout
Marga works as a pedagogical coach, trainer and resource creator, and greatly enjoys working in and around the Gooi and Vecht region, North Holland, Utrecht and Amersfoort.
She takes great pleasure in providing professional training on young children for childcare professionals. Marga is also an instructor of supportive baby and child signs, which creates a wonderful connection with Dunstan Baby Language.
For Marga, baby language is about making real contact: observing carefully, listening and, wherever possible, responding to the child’s needs. She first discovered Dunstan Baby Language at a parent meeting at her previous workplace, and the subject has inspired her ever since.
"I want every parent to have knowledge of Baby Language, because those first months of contact with your baby can be tiring, but they are so beautiful and important for getting to know each other. How wonderful is it if you and your partner can take turns and respond to your baby's needs from day one."
