Marijke Hofman
Marijke lives with her husband and two daughters (2011, 2015) in Norg and teaches the Dunstan Baby Language course in Norg and the surrounding area.
She works as a preverbal speech therapist at the UMCG. She also taught the elective module Baby Language & Interaction on behalf of Dunstan Babytaal Nederland for a few years in the Speech Therapy program at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
Furthermore, she makes grateful use of the Babytaal method during her work at the UMCG, teaching parents to recognize their baby's signals.
She read about Baby Language in a magazine when her oldest daughter was three months old. As a pre-verbal speech therapist, she was immediately interested. Above all, Marijke wants to show parents that caring for a baby requires 'tailor-made care'.
I wish every parent could know Baby Language, because it gives babies the confidence that they are being heard and parents feel certain that what they are doing for their child at that moment is the right thing. That brings a lot of peace!
