Marijke Hofman
Marijke lives with her husband and two daughters (2011, 2015) in Norg and teaches the Dunstan Baby Language course in Norg and the surrounding area.
She works as a preverbal speech therapist at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). She also taught the elective module "Baby Language & Interaction" for several years on behalf of Dunstan Baby Language Netherlands, part of the speech therapy program at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
She also gratefully uses the Baby Language method during her work at the UMCG, where she teaches parents to recognize the signals in their baby.
She read about Baby Language in a magazine when her eldest daughter was three months old. As a preverbal speech therapist, she was immediately interested. Marijke wants to show parents that caring for a baby is a personalized experience.
I want every parent to know Baby Language, because it gives babies the confidence that they are being heard, and parents feel secure that what they are doing for their child at that moment is the right thing. That gives a lot of peace of mind!
