Module to become a Dunstan Baby Language Trainer

In addition to the Basic Training, the supplementary module for Dunstan Baby Language Trainer can also be taken. This grants the participant the license to offer Dunstan Baby Language as a standalone course to parents. This can be done in one-on-one settings as well as in group settings. This training is intended for instructors of baby and (expectant) parent courses and other professionals who wish to expand their activities by offering a Dunstan Baby Language for Parents course. Trainers receive supplementary course materials and publicity materials and benefit from many advantages.

  • The training

    This module consists of an extra 4-hour meeting (or 2 lessons of 2 hours). During the lesson, we will cover teaching a Dunstan Baby Language course to parents, the practical aspects of teaching courses such as pricing and course variations, and recruiting participants.

  • Target group and admission

    To participate in the Dunstan Baby Language Trainer Module, it is necessary to hold a valid certificate from the Basic Dunstan Baby Language Training for Professionals.

  • Location

    This training is provided online (via Zoom). You can therefore decide for yourself from which location you wish to participate.

  • Study load

    The total study load for this module is approximately 8 hours, of which 4 hours are class hours and 4 hours are self-study.

  • Supplies

    The course is delivered online (via Zoom). Ideally, you should take the course from a laptop or PC, but you can also participate from a tablet or phone if desired.


    Ensure a quiet environment and a good internet connection.


    Bring your own pen and paper to take notes if necessary.

  • Certification

    Upon participation in the Trainer Module, the participant receives the Dunstan Baby Language Trainer Certificate and a license to offer Dunstan Baby Language courses to parents. This can be done as a standalone course or as part of, for example, a pregnancy course.


    The certificate is valid for 3 years. After this, it is possible to renew it by means of a refresher course.


    The license to teach courses is issued for one year. The first year is free after completing the Trainer Module. After this, you pay €135 per year. This license is mandatory to maintain the authorization to teach courses.

    This training does not grant the right to transfer Dunstan Baby Language to other professionals. That is reserved for Dunstan Baby Language Netherlands.

  • Costs

    Participation in the regular training dates costs €295 per person.

    Dunstan Babytaal Nederland is registered with the Central Register for Short Vocational Education. As a result, the training and teaching materials can be offered VAT-exempt.
