Mirjam Boven

Mirjam offers the Dunstan Baby Language course in Drachten, Surhuisterveen or at parents' homes.

She also works as a nurse baby consultant at Verloskundigenpraktijk Wolkom in Drachten. There, she provides information to expectant parents and supports them when they feel uncertain about bonding during pregnancy. She is also there for parents for whom things do not quite go smoothly after their baby is born.

During her training to become a baby consultant, she took the Dunstan Baby Language Foundation Course and was stunned: "After working in maternity wards for 20 years, I thought: why didn't I know this sooner?!"

"I believe every parent should know Baby Language, because it is so helpful in discovering what your baby is trying to tell you. It also helps parents work together to recognize the sounds. It is wonderful to see how enthusiastic fathers become when they recognize a sound too!"
